The Sidney City Schools Hall of Honor Committee proudly announces the HOH Class of 2024. Those being inducted include community leader and local businessman, Michael Lochard (SHS 1986); retired teacher and award-winning coach, Jim McCracken (SHS 1974); inspiring educator Tony Wagner; and renowned ornithologist Farida Wiley (Orange Township School).

Of those to receive the highest honor bestowed by Sidney City Schools is Erin Johnson, 4-time Emmy-Award-winning Executive Producer of Entertainment Tonight.

After a long pause due to the ongoing pandemic, Sidney City Schools is pleased to announce the 27th annual Hall of Honor Induction Ceremony is set to take place Friday, April 22, 2022.
The Hall of Honor Committee has reconvened to set plans to honor those from 2020, including Congressman Warren Davidson (SHS 1988), Retired Sidney High math teacher and boys soccer coach Eric Harlamert (SHS 1976), Emmy Award-winning executive producer Erin Johnson (SHS 2000, co-valedictorian), and the late Rob Joslin.
Ken Monnier (SHS 1977) has become a prominent Sidney community leader as he ascended through the ranks at Copeland/Emerson over the past 30 years to become Vice-President of Air Conditioning Engineering. His civic leadership includes the arts, Wilson Memorial Hospital, and Holy Angels Catholic Church.
Four new inductees were elected to the Sidney City Schools Hall of Honor this week and will be enshrined on Friday evening April 17, 2015 in the Sidney High School auditorium. The public is invited to attend this 22nd annual event and the reception that follows in the adjacent gymnasium. The Hall will have 115 members with these additions.
